Mr
A arrived early one Saturday morning with his young family at their
holiday home in France to find they had no electricity!
We
immediately contacted the supplier and found the supply had been
cut off because a payment had gone astray.
Anyone
familiar with the phrase ‘bureaucratic nightmare’ will find it is
many times worse when translated into French - particularly at weekends!
But we managed to negotiate reconnection of the supply within 48
hours.
After
that we arranged automatic payments for the client with all the
French utility companies. No bother for him, of course – we took
care of all the paperwork! Now we manage his affairs in France on
an ongoing basis as well as arranging international business trips
and liaising with his customers worldwide.
